I live in Copenhagen (Denmark) and I’m in my early twenties. I was raised in Wales.
I’m an IR student. My main area of interest is gender in postcolonial society (specifically Arab postcolonial society). I would particularly like to do some work on trans* postcolonialism in the future. My health has been fucked up in the last year or so, and a whole host of auto-immune diseases hBut on the whole, I’m interested in a wide variety of topics. I’m pretty left, politically. I mean, like, pretty far left.
I’m a heavy metal fan. I attend Wacken Open Air every year, and quite a few gigs in Copenhagen.
I like cooking, travelling, reading fiction (mostly fantasy, but I’ll read other genres too), reading dry academic literature, cycling around the city and trying staying healthy. I was a competitive sailor - mostly dinghy sailing. Now I teach kids to sail, as a volunteer, as well as hoping to compete more in the future. I’m quite a computer geek but have other priorities lately. I play guitar - Gibson SG.
